   I think the encrypting is useless. We buy the iPod and download iTunes. Giving accessibility to the artwork is the minimum Apple can give us in return. Please notify me when someone succeeds in finding out how the pictures are encrypted. Thank you.

   all you have to do is have an apple account. i dont even think you have to purchase anything, just as soon as you have an account and are logged in, itunes will download the album art automatically. thats how it works for me…

   Matt you’re right,but to be exact, you’ll need an iTunes store account, not an Apple account. This is a problem for people in countries wherein signing up for an iTunes store account is not possible. That’s the problem in my case here in the Philippines.

   Same problem no itunes store here in Brazil =( I just wanna get album art work… I’ve tried putting my credit card number with an valid NY adress…. but it doesen’t work either… ¬¬ Please email me if somebody has an solution! Thanks!

   Same here - can’t get an Itunes account in South Africa (even if you DON”T want to buy anything) - and as a result can’t get album art. This is a BAD PR move from Apple’s side!

   Like all you guys, I just want to get an iTunes account to have access to the artwork and I can’t because I live in Paraguay.

   Apple is always want people sign up an iTunes account before they are able to get their CD artworks automatically. Because people are more likely buy songs in iTunes after they have signed up their credit card information, which does make sense on money.

   Blueman music ever offered free redeem code of iTunes store. Which means everyone can access/register an iTunes account of all iTunes(US/Japan etc.). But now the codes are expired.

   BTW, I would be so grateful if Apple offers artworks to the public. And I am so sure about that that day when Apple release those can attract over a million copies of download of iTunes.

   I just got a new Ipod nano and signed up for an itunes store account to get album art. It works for me and I didn’t have to give any credit card info (since I haven’t bought anything yet. That works here in the US anyway. I already had the art in microsoft Media Center but Apple does it their own way.
